Do note that DiveAssure is only able to insure you if you are not residing in the country you are diving in!

Dive-Travel: For both land and diving related
Dive Accident: Purely for diving related

Step 4: Annual or Single trip coverage?
If you dive just once a year, we advise dive travel - short term.
If you dive twice or more a year, we advise dive travel - annual.

You will need to input the relevant information that they request.

Ensure that you select DiveRACE as the partner.

Choose your plan coverage and see more details. We strongly recommend Dive Travel Plus as it covers Liveaboard related matters!
Click Pay to proceed.

How to claim?

Step 1: Contact Local Emergency Services
Your safety is our first priority. If you’re experiencing a diving accident or medical emergency, ensure that you seek immediate medical attention and contact local emergency services for help.

Step 2: Contact DiveAssure Emergency Hotline:
The emergency hotline is available 24/7 to assist you.  Call +1-319-448-3483 / +49-3222-109-5966 (Please make sure you have your DiveAssure member ID ready.)

Step 3: Submit a Claim Online
Complete the claim form with details of your incident.
Attach any relevant documentation and paperwork.

Step 4: Required Documents
DiveAssure member ID and Medical reports and bills (if applicable)
Invoices or receipts for additional or secondary costs
Any correspondence with a service provider or medical facility

Step 5: Claim Review Process
Once you’ve submitted your claim, it will be reviewed by DiveAssure team. They aim to process claims as quickly as possible. If they need further information, they will contact you directly.

Step 6: Payment and Settlement
In case your claim is approved, and according to your policy terms, DiveAssure will arrange the compensation. This may include direct payment to medical facilities, or reimbursement to you, for covered expenses.

Making your claims process easier:

Are you in need of a decompression chamber treatment, hospitalization or evacuation? Call the 24/7 assistance hotline (+44 (0) 20 3137 3673). Make sure to get copies of medical documents after receiving treatment locally.

If an airline loses your gear, notify the airline of the loss immediately, fill in a report and keep a copy/photo.

Report the theft to the local police within 24 hours and make sure to obtain a written report.

Before filing a claim check whether your airline, hotel or dive operator will reimburse you partially, in full or not at all. (If no reimbursement is given, have them provide a letter stating this).

Always add your travel proofs when filing a claim for losses outside of your home country.
